Flips Gymnastics & Sport offers a wide variety of classes, from recreational and high school classes to USA Junior Olympic Competitive Teams.
Flip Kids programs are organized around the basic structure that children learn by playing. They will learn such concepts as: next to, under, through and on top, along with body-awareness, social-building skills and beginning gymnastics. All Flip-Kids programs include warm-up activities and open play time. Basic skills are taught on vault, beam, bars, floor, tumble-trak and trampoline. See Schedule Page for days and times.
- Flip-Floppers - A parent and child program for 12 months to 2 years of age. This class helps this important age learn more large motor skills and practice the one they are trying so hard to master. Both the child & Parent participate in the class together, promoting movement development and parental bonding. 45 minutes
- Little Flippers - A child only gymnastics class for children 2 to 3 years of age. Children participate in class while parents watch in view area. Emphasis is on learning large motor skills. 45 minutes
- Kinder Prep - Your child is sure to enjoy this morning of learning and fun. Each day the children 2 to 4 years of age will participate in gymnastics, music and movement, arts and crafts, and circle time. The children will learn their shapes, colors, Printing, numbers, days and months of the year and all the skills to help them prepare for kindergarten. Kinder Prep believes that what children do when they are young greatly influences what they do when they grow older. Encourage children...to be active as part of their normal life-style. A great alternative to Daycare. 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Kinder Flips - This class introduces more gymnastic skills and a faster learning pace for children 4-5 years of age. 45 minutes
- Flip Gym 5 - An introduction to a healthy life-style thru Gymnastics for 5 year olds. Gymnastic Skills combined with fun and easy exercises to promote development of all muscle groups. Basic skills are taught on Vault, Beam, Bars, Floor, TumbleTrak, Trampoline. Program goal is to provide an opportunity to increase the child’s strength, flexibility, self confidence, courage and coordination. Gymnastic Skills are taught in a safe & friendly atmosphere taking into account individual skill Levels. 1 hour
Flips-Gym programs are an introduction to a healthy lifestyle and Gymnastics. Gymnastics skills combined with fun and easy exercises are taught to promote development of all muscle groups. Basic skills are taught on vault, beam, bars, floor, tumble-trak, trampoline, rings, parallel bars and high-bar. Flips-Gym programs aim to increase self-confidence, flexibility, responsibility, strength and coordination. See Schedule Page for days and times.
- Flips Gym - Beginner programs for boys and girls ages range from 5 to12 years of age. 1 hour.
- High School - Program goal is to provide an opportunity for high school age girls to explore gymnastics. Ages 13 and up. 1 hour.
- Advanced Gym - Invite or Evaluation only. Intermediate skills are taught using USA Gymnastics & Elite Coaching Association guidelines. 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Developmental - Invite or Evaluation only. Advanced skills are taught using USA Gymnastics & Elite Coaching Association guidelines. 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Advanced Skills - Invite or Evaluation only. Skill following the USA Gymnastics & Elite Coaching Association guidelines. 2 hours.
- Team Training - Invite or Evaluation only. Program developed to prepare gymnasts for competitive teams. 2 hours.
- Junior Olympic Competitive Teams - Following USA Gymnastics & Elite Coaching Association Levels 4-10 that compete locally, regionally, and nationally. See office for details.
- Gymstrada - A skills demonstration. Includes a special medal to celebrate the occassion. T-shirt sizes must be given to the office by March 31. $25
- Gymnasitting - Available at different times during the year. Children are allowed to use the gym from 6-10pm while their parents can take a break!
Rhythmic Gymnastics - This program incorporates music, dance and hand-held equipment in a unique form of atheltic expression. Rhythmic Gymnastics involves the use of hoops, ribbons, rope, clubs and balls. A great way to increase your childs gross and small muscle coordination
